Breastfeeding is thought to have many implications for the health of your baby.

It is generally considered to give your baby more health benefits than using formula.  Some of these include a lowered risk for stomach problems, sudden infant death syndrome, asthma and obesity.  It has also been shown to give better baby teeth development, leading to a healthier adult mouth.   With this in mind, Pediatric Dentists are now asking parents to gently clean your baby’s gums and teeth after being breastfed or eating more solid foods to promote healthy mouth development.
